It is 'aboot' time we had a CANADIAN themed Go West night, 'eh'? This week we are super lucky to have a professional out-of-town Headliner, coming all the way from CANADA!! Come join us for our free English comedy night at the AXEL HOTEL BERLIN in #Schöneberg! (Donations encouraged.)

Your headliner will be Byron Bertram
"Like bird flu on an international flight, Byron Bertram’s comedy travels well. His innate talent for voices and accents mixed with a uniquely confident vulnerability have taken him across the world and established him internationally as one of the Top Canadian Comics working today. He has worked on stage with the likes of Zach Galifianakis, Flight of the Concords, and Eddie Izzard, received rave reviews for his one man show “Guilt Ridden Sociopath” and can be seen on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, CBC’s Romeo Section, Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, and heard regularly on XM Sirus Radio, and his weekly comedy based political, current events podcast “The Dry Shave Show”.".
Your hosts for the evening will be outrageously sarcastic Yannick Geske and funny-if-you-get-her-hobbit-accent Simone Hudson ( subbing in for Go West charmingly funny Ben MacLean)
Don’t forget: if you come for a meal at Juniper before the show, you get a free glass of prosecco!
Go West is Schöneberg’s must-see English standup #comedy night. Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, come and see some of Berlin’s funniest comedians take the stage! The show starts at 9 p.m.
Go West is an open stage in the heart of the LGBT scene, where all performers are welcome. However you identify, all that matters to us is that you keep the audience laughing :) !
We’re proud to be Berlin’s only regular English open mic with food and drinks service at your table. Juniper is a fantastic new restaurant in the heart of the gay scene, with a mouthwatering menu and great staff. Sit back, have a bite to eat with your friends, enjoy a beer or a cocktail, and laugh your ass off!
There’s no cover charge, but your donations, (Loonie and Toonies for those Canadians) at the end of the night are greatly appreciated.
If you’d like to perform, please post on the event wall. We will then post to announce the performers for each show. Comics will normally be asked to perform seven minutes of material.
