'Thanks to its formula Tumblr has developed a specific pictorial language which has impacted visual culture. Tumblr creates and detects new trends and is a great tool for visual communication. Every picture contains a message. A compilation of pictures might be a great story. That's something I want to tell you using my synesthetic visual language'.

TUMBLR is a popular microblogging platform designed for creative self-expression. It is considered a mindful alternative to Facebook and other social media websites where users blog on a myriad of topics.
As of 2011, Tumblr was attracting 72 million visitors per month. It provides an easy interface and has the fastest multimedia publishing capabilities of all blog services.
CEO David Karp founded Tumblr in 2007. Karp felt that most blogs required high-quality writing and too much commitment. Tumblr was designed as a different format than most blogging sites, promoting short, to-the-point blogs over long form content. It also allows users to share posts, photos, quotes, links, music and videos as well as customize all aspects of their blogs. Tumblr also functions much like social media, in that users can reshare other bloggers' posts, allowing popular content to go "viral."
A NAME DAY is a tradition in many countries in Europe and Latin America that consists of celebrating a day of the year that is associated with one's given name.

The custom originated with the Christian calendar of saints: believers named after a saint would celebrate that saint's feast day. In many countries, however, there is no longer any explicit connection to Christianity.[1][2]
It remains more popular in the Catholic and Orthodox parts of Europe, as Protestant churches generally do not venerate saints.

NAME DAY IN POLAND - traditionally, name day celebrations (Polish: imieniny) have enjoyed a celebratory emphasis greater than that of birthday celebrations in Poland. However, birthday celebrations are increasingly popular and important, particularly among the young. Imieniny involve the gathering and socializing of friends and family at the celebrant's home, as well as the giving of gifts and flowers at home and elsewhere, such as at the workplace.
Local calendars often contain the names celebrated on a given day.
