Wie schon bei der Eröffnung aktiviert Dafna Maimon ihre Installation in der Galerie Wedding erneut, allerdings zum letzten Mal. Die Performance „After Hours“, die während der Ausstellung und innerhalb der Installation entwickelt wurde, bespielt das Ende einer Restaurant-Schicht. Zwei Arbeiterinnen verkörpern und verarbeiten in fragmentierter Form die Nachwirkung der Schicht, die auf vergangenen Ereignissen und autobiografischem Material der Familie der Künstlerin basieren. In „After Hours“ zieht Maimon eine bewusste Parallele zum Tanzstück „Café Müller“ von Pina Bausch, in dem die renommierte Choreografin ebenfalls Kindheitserinnerungen ihres Vaters, der ein Café führte, verarbeitet. Indem Maimon verschiedene Zeitfenster auf einmal öffnet, überwindet sie zeitliche Distanzen und lässt Vergangenheit und Gegenwart verschmelzen.

Like at the opening, Dafna Maimon activates her installation at Galerie Wedding again but for the last time. The performance „After Hours“ which was developed during the exhibition and within the installation plays out the end of a restaurant shift. Two female workers embody and process a fragmented aftermath based on past events taken from autobiographies of the artist’s family. Within „After Hours“ Maimon draws a conscious parallel to the dance piece ‘Café Müller’ by Pina Bausch, in which the renowned choreographer also processes childhood memories of her father working in his café. By opening up different time frames at once, Maimon overcomes distance in time and brings together past and present.
