 ve developed while performing and traveling through over 250 cities across
  more than 40 countries. Davis stitches together a personal narrative wher
 e he is often playing the fool\; complimenting it with hyperbolic comparis
 ons and expose? to propel his never-ending comedic search for the forced-e
 volution of entrenched ideas.Throughout the show\, Matt Davis presents an 
 outsider?s voice on topics from the grandiose to the banal\; joking about 
 even the largely accepted norms of language\, nationality\, and global or 
 regional customs. Playing the foil to his own ideas\, the world-traveled p
 erformer offers up a studied cross-examination of his experiences\; all wi

 T DAVISMatt Davis has performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs festiva
 l in Montreal\, JFL42 in Toronto\, Sketch Fest in San Francisco\, KLICfest
  in Malaysia\, UICF in Utrecht\, Netherlands\, the Bengaluru Comedy Festiv
 al in India\, and others.In addition to 20+ years of performing\, his come
 dic short films have been featured in collectives at the Film Dayton festi
 val\, the LYAO comedy festival\, and the Cincinnati Film Festival.In 2015 
 he launched the World in Jest project to embody the belief that real and i
 magined borders can be crossed when people prioritize communities of share
 d interest. By connecting with communities of performing artists across th
 e globe\, the project was able to produced over 100 performances across 30
  countries in its 13 months\, and Matt was able to work with over 200 esta
 blished and emerging artists he had not previously known. Having evidenced
  its hypothesis\, the World in Jest project was closed. While continuing t
 o tour internationally\, Matt Davis has begun working on a larger project
