DESCRIPTION:Gil Hockman is a singer-songwriter from Johannesburg\, South Af
 rica\, and divides his time between his home and Berlin. His style is a mi
 x of folk\, indie and electronica and his songs are mostly about his life 
 and relationships.\n\nIn April 2014 Gil released his third album\, Dolorou
 s\, on which his sound expanded from simple vocals and guitar to a larger 
 production. As a result\, his live act has also grown to include electric 
 guitar\, synthesiser and loop-station.\n\nDolorous follows on from the EP 
 called All The things which was released in March 2013 and Gil's debut alb
 um album Too Early In The Journey (2011). All three releases can be found

 cloud.com/gilhockman.\n\nIn 2013 Gil also composed his first film score fo
 r the documentary Fatherland (fatherlanddocumentary.com) and his songs won
  the Best Soundtrack award at the 2015 Fusion Audience Choice Awards for t
