 er to aspire to more formal events. Open mic nights and intimate gigs prov
 ided a platform for her original compositions. This connection\, between O
 'Connor and her audience remains the inspiration for her performance. And 
 the connection is palpable. It is this intriguing anomaly that has born wi
 tness to her growing fan base\, and continues to be the motivation behind 
 her writing and performance on stage. A self taught guitarist\, O'Connor s
 ites diverse artists such as Elvis Presley\, Ani DiFranco and Damien Rice 
 as her major influences. Having completed a degree in Midwifery at NUI Gal
 way\, O'Connor envisions the future in Europe\, where she plans to expand
