 , reimagining some chamber music masterpieces alongside recently penned co
 mpositions for the combination. Collectively\, the performers have perform
 ed with some of the most acclaimed ensembles on the globe including the Au
 stralian Chamber Orchestra\, Kammerakademie Potsdam and the Deutsches Kamm
 erorchester and individually have growing reputations as international sol
 oists and chamber musicians. The trio formed in 2008 when they were all st
 udents at the Australian National University. After parting ways for a dec
 ade\, the trio have come together to perform a series of concerts around E
 urope during the 2018/2019 season.Lina Andonovska leads a diverse career a
 s soloist\, chamber musician\, orchestral player\, collaborator and educat
 or. Quickly gaining recognition internationally as a fearless and versatil
 e artist\, she has collaborated and performed with Crash Ensemble\, Austra
 lian Chamber Orchestra\, Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond)\, s t a r g a
  z e\, Southern Cross Soloists (Aus) and eighth blackbird (USA). She is cr
 itically acclaimed for her interpretation of new music\, having closely co
 llaborated with Louis Andriessen\, Brett Dean\, Ann Cleare\, Donnacha Denn
 ehy\, Michael Gordon\, David Lang\, Thomas Ades\, Anthony Pateras and Nick
  Roth. Rolling Stone Magazine hailed her performance of Bun-Ching Lam?s pi
 ccolo concertino at the Bang On A Can Summer Festival as ?superbly played\
 , (ranging) from sustained ?somebody-please-get-that-tea-kettle? squeaks t
 o the flit and flutter of its beautifully lilting trills...?In 2018/2019\,
  Lina will be appearing with the Australian Chamber Orchestra\, Southern C
 ross Soloists and ULYSSES Ensemble\; performing the latest opera by Denneh
 y/Walsh with Crash Ensemble throughout Europe\, performing recitals at Mus
 icaOcúpa Festival (Ecuador) and Unerhörte Musik (Berlin) and joining s t a r g a 
 z e at the Edinburgh International Festival.Alexina Hawkins is an Australi
 an violist currently living in Berlin. She has performed in various ensemb
 les\, including Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin\, Kammerakademie Potsdam\
 , ensemble interface\, Streicherakademie Bozen\, Geneva Camerata\, amongst
  others.Alexina studied viola with William Coleman\, Tor Fromyhr\, Carolin
 e Henbest and Chris Moore\, at the ANU School of Music (Canberra)\, Austra
 lian National Academy of Music (Melbourne) and privately in Berlin. In sol
 o/chamber/chamber orchestra mediums\, she has performed at festivals inclu
 ding Bang On A Can Summer Festival (USA)\, Huntington Estate Music Festiva
 l\, Canberra International Music Festival\, Bangalow Festival (Festival Qu
 artet\, 2017)\, Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music (Austr
 alia)\, Musikfest Goslar\, Rheingau Musik Festival\, Festspiele Mecklenbur
 g-Vorpommern (Germany)\, Festival Opera Barga (Italy) and NOMUS Festival (
 Serbia). Performance highlights of 2018 include a solo recital in the lege
 ndary new music series Unerhörte Musik at BKA-Theater\, a piano quartet colla
 boration in the Sonntagskonzerte im Spiegelsaal series at Clärchens Ballhaus
 \, and flute\, viola and guitar trios in Berlin and Potsdam with Harold Gr
 etton and Lina Andonovska.Harold Gretton began playing guitar at the age o
 f 7. In 2001 he started his Bachelor of Music studies at the Australian Na
 tional University (ANU) School of Music which he completed with first-clas
 s honours in 2006. He is a PhD candidate at the ANU School of Music\, rese
 arching historically informed performance practice of early-19th century g
 uitar repertoire. Harold has won numerous national and international compe
 titions\, including first prize in the Vienna Guitar Forum ? International
  Guitar Competition (Austria)\, first prize in the Cordoba Guitar Festival
  ? International Guitar Competition (Spain)\, first prize in the Coria Int
 ernational Guitar Competition (Spain)\, first prize in the Transylvania In
 ternational Guitar Competition (Romania)\, first prize in the 10th Sernanc
 elhe International Guitar Competition (Portugal)\, and first prize in the 
 International Competition of 20th Century Guitar Music Interpretation in L
