 Uhrde/Peklers Live-Performances basieren auf Improvisationen mit modularer
  Synthese und Echtzeit-Videomanipulation. Der daraus resultierende Fluss s
 pontaner\, neuer Kompositionen ist eine Reise in synthetisch erzeugte und 
 zugleich organische wirkende audiovisuelle Welten. Seine kürzlich veröffentlichte 
 Arbeit »Phantom Islands - A Sonic Atlas« ist eine interaktive Karte\, die Hörer
 *innen auf eine imaginäre akustische Reise dieser kontrafaktischen Inseln en
 tführt. Seine Performance knüpft an die von ihm und der Kulturanthropologin Stefanie
  Kiwi Menrath entwickelte gleichnamige Arbeit an\, die Teil der Ausstellun
 g »Worlds within World« ist und noch bis 11.05.2019 in den Galerieräumen zu se
 hen ist.Andrew Pekler ist Soundkünstler und arbeitet mit Techniken des digitale
 n Samplings und der Analogsynthese\, um gefundene Klänge und archivierte Mus
 ikmaterialien neu zu kontextualisieren. Er hat mehrere Alben auf Labels wi
 e Kranky\, Entr'acte oder Jan Jelineks Faitiche veröffentlicht.https://soundc

 live performances are based around improvisations with modular synthesis a
 nd real-time video manipulation. The resulting flow of spontaneous new com
 positions is a journey into synthetically generated yet uncannily organic 
 and 'naturalistic' audio-visual worlds. His recent work 'Phantom Islands -
  A Sonic Atlas' is an interactive online map that takes listeners on an im
 aginary acoustic journey into now lost islands. His performance builds on 
 from the eponymous work developed by him and the cultural anthropologist S
 tefanie Kiwi Menrath\, which is part of the exhibition Worlds within World
  and that can be seen in the gallery rooms until May 11.Andrew Pekler work
 s as an artist with techniques of digital sampling and analog synthesis to
  re?contextualize found sounds and archival musical materials. He has rele
 ased several albums on labels like Kranky\, Entr'acte or Jan Jelinek's Fai
