Her fiction?which Tom Robbins described as 'among the most exciting things I've read since social networking crippled the La nguage Wheel'?has been commissioned for BBC Radio\, awarded the SBT New Wr iter Award\, and performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.Ka therine Leyton's poetry has appeared in numerous literary magazines\, both at home in Canada and abroad\, including The Edinburgh Review\, Hazlitt a ndContemporary Verse 2. She was recently selected to be the inaugural Poet -In-Residence at the Al Purdy A-Frame in Ameliasburg\, Canada for the summ er of 2014. She is also the founder of How Pedestrian\, a project that bro ught poetry to the streets and captured it on video. She lives in Toronto. Melanie Sevcenko is a journalist and poet. Working in both radio and print \, her work has been published and broadcasted by Al Jazeera\, BBC\, Deuts che Welle\, Global Post\, Monocle\, Toronto Star\, CBC Radio and Snap Judg ment (NPR and PRX)\, amongst others. She also produces the radio program B erlin Stories for NPR Berlin. Her poetry and short fiction has been publis hed by apt\, newleaf\, The Fourth River\, Sojourn\, BlazeVOX and Nexus.
