 ks I search for the world around me. I usually express myself in something
  between abstract and representative art. I use a lot of symbolic language
  - often of several interpretations. I'm studying different ways of expres
 sing myself so that's how it's got ideas\, questions\, and feelings in the
  viewer. The world has no self-doubt or ready answers. In addition to my a
 rtistic education\, my background is in social science and philosophy. My 
 social science education is often reflected in my paintings one way or ano
 ther.The present works in the series 5B5W5Q and At the Border reflect on t
 he relationship between external beauty and inner anxiety. Often\, it is u
 nfortunate did external beauty\, the end of itself\, meaningless\, just mo
 mentary pleasure\, or it is the growing anxiety about the future\, threate
 ning natural disasters\, uncertainty in world politics\, refugee masses\,
