 day God created a tree\, on the fourth a rope\, and on the fifth a beautif
 ul young man. On the sixth day\, however\, the young man hung himself to h
 is satisfaction\, with God watching wistfully from the side. On the sevent
 h day\, the seeds that flew into the ground grew plants that soon shrouded
  a tree with their flowers\, where the young man still hung lifeless. One 
 day these plants would rise\, and inhabit the whole land with their offspr
 ing.'Viljami Nissi (b. 1994\, Kannus) is a Helsinki-based visual artist an
 d performer who graduated from Kankaanpää School of Art\, majoring in Perfor
 mance Art. His practice often interrogates and twists different thematics 
 associated with sexuality\, fetishes\, fantasy\, spirituality\, and mascul
 inity. In his installations\, he often creates fictional tales by explorin
 g alternative realities that are still linked to old histories\, and reima
 gines mythological forms. Through this process\, he facilitates the act of
  role playing and storytelling through image\, text\, and sculpture Summer
 time Sadness is Nissi?s first exhibition in Germany.The exhibition is supp

 hsten Tag erhängte sich der junge Man jedoch zu seiner Zufriedenheit\, während
  Gott wehmütig zusah. Am siebten Tag wurden die Samen\, die zu Boden fielen\, z
 u Pflanzen\, die bald einen Baum in ihre Blumen hüllten\, wo der junge Mann leb
 los hing. Eines Tages würden diese Pflanzen aufsteigen und mit ihren Nachkommen
  das ganze Land bevölkern.'Viljami Nissi (geb. 1994\, Kannus) ist ein in Hels
 inki lebender bildender Künstler und Performer\, der einen Abschluss von der Ka
 nkaanpää School of Art hat. Sein Hauptfach war Performancekunst. In seine Ar
 beit hinterfragt und twistet er oft verschiedene Thematiken in Verbindung 
 mit Sexualität\, Fetischen\, Fantasie\, Spiritualität und Männlichkeit. In seine
 n Installationen erzählt er oft fiktive Märchen\, indem er andere Realitäten erk
 undet\, die mit alten Geschichten verbunden sind und erfindet mythologisch
 e Gestalten neu. Durch diesen Prozess ermöglicht er den Akt des Rollenspiels 
 und des Geschichtenerzählens anhand von Bildern\, Text und Skulpturen. Somme
 rtraurigkeit ist Nissis?s erste Ausstellung in Deutschland.Die Ausstellung
