 eaning soil in Ladakhi language\, is Asia's highest contemporary land art 
 Biennale at 3600m. It was founded with a deep passion for landscapes and t
 he communities that inhabit them. Held in Ladakh\, one of the northernmost
  regions of the Indian Himalayas\, near the Karakorum\, the Biennale activ
 ely engages people\, particularly young adults\, in exploring the relation
 ship between art and the environment. It aims to cultivate a heightened se
 nsitivity to and a deeper connection with nature through artistic expressi
 on\, fostering meaningful interactions between the local community\, artis
 ts\, and audiences. For its second edition in June 2024\, artists were inv
 ited to submit proposals under the theme ?The Future of Immersive Land Art
  / Immersive Land Art and the Future\,? incorporating site-specific instal
 lations\, sculptures\, and\, for the first time\, immersive audiovisual pe
 rformances. Following the film's screening\, we aim to engage in an open d
 iscussion between Angelina Kumar\, Friederike Schäfer\, and Paula Böke about th
 e potential and challenges of creating and experiencing art on-site\, its 
 South Asian context\, as well as how this Biennale may present new perspec
