 te Straße 24-26\, 13187 BerlinSteigende Mieten und vor allem steigende Nebe
 nkosten\, Kündigungen und Umwidmungen der Arbeitsräume verschärfen zunehmend die La
 ge. Hinzu kommen nun auch noch die Einsparungen des Berliner Senats\, dem 
 zahlreiche Förderprogramme zum Opfer fallen. Diese Situation hat bereits die 
 Erschließung neuer Räume gekostet und bringt Ateliers in Gefahr\, die seit de
 n Anfängen des Atelierprogramms in den 1990er Jahren im Programm sind. Die A
 ussetzung des Fonds für Ausstellungsvergütungen für Bildende Künstler*innen (FABiK) mindert di
 e Verdienstmöglichkeiten für Künstler*innen. Für immer mehr Kunstschaffende ist die IST
  SITUATION unsicher und von Einschränkungen der freien künstlerischen Arbeit gepr
 ägt. artspring nutzt die Öffentlichkeit im Rathaus Pankow für eine Ausstellung\, d
 ie ganz dem Festivalthema ?[?ap???fakt] ? something is broken here' folgt 
 und die Künstler*innen in den Mittelpunkt stellt\, die kein Atelier haben. Die 
 Ausstellung zeigt Arbeiten derer\, die an Küchentischen\, zwischen Bett und Stu
 hl arbeiten oder von Ort zu Ort ziehen müssen. Zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung finde
 t eine Podiumsdiskussion statt\, in der aufgezeigt wird\, wie es in Pankow
  um die freien Szene bestellt ist\, welche Probleme bestehen bzw. zu erwar
 ten sind und wie der Bezirk mit seinen Institutionen darauf reagieren kann

  at Rathaus Pankow for an exhibition that follows the festival theme ?[?ap
 ???fakt] - something is broken here? and focuses on artists who do not hav
 e a studio. The exhibition shows works by those who work at kitchen tables
 \, between bed and chair or have to move from place to place.A panel discu
 ssion will be held at the opening of the exhibition to show how the indepe
 ndent scene in Pankow is doing\, what problems exist or are to be expected
  and how the district and its institutions can react to them.Admission is
