DESCRIPTION:Nachdem die 37 Kommunalen Galerien Berlin mit dem Festival Kuns
 twoche elf Jahre lang ein fester Bestandteil des Berliner Kunstherbstes wa
 ren\, gehen sie mit der Kommunalen Kapitale ? Aktionstage der Kommunalen G
 alerien Berlin neue Wege. Vor dem Hintergrund der drastischen Kürzungen im Kult
 urbereich und der Ungewissheit der zukünftigen Entwicklung stellt das Programm 
 die Relevanz der kommunalen Galerien für die Stadt Berlin und ihre Künstler:innen ko
 nzentriert dar. Diskursive Themenausstellungen zu künstlerischen und gesellscha
 ftsrelevanten Fragestellungen und monografische Einzelausstellungen in all
 en Stadtbezirken sind ebenso Teil der Aktionstage wie Performances\, Konze
 rte\, Workshops und viele weitere Veranstaltungen\, an denen über 150 Künstler:innen
  beteiligt sind. Eine Podiumsdiskussion rückt den Stellenwert der kommunalen Ga
 lerien im Berliner Kunstkontext in den Fokus. In der anschließenden Konzert
 reihe Sounds bringen Künstler:innenbands Musik auf die Bühne der WABE im Prenzlauer 
 Berg. Die Young-Workshops laden das junge Publikum zu eigenen künstlerischen Er
 kundungen im Dialog mit den Ausstellungen ein. Abschließend gibt ein ab wec
 hslungsreiches Tourenangebot einen um fassenden Einblick in die Tätigkeit de
 r kommunalen Galerien. Die Teilnahme an allen Veranstaltungen ist kostenfr

 ipal galleries in the Berlin art scene. In the subsequent Sounds concert s
 eries\, artist bands bring music to the stage at WABE in Prenzlauer Berg.
