"Electric Paradise" Album Night - Exhibition & Performance

On May 17th, the Berlin lo-fi hip-hop duo rocomoco and the visual artist and music producer Dan McRae, also known as The Hidden from Southampton, UK, will present their new joint album „Electric Paradise“ at Galerie Reflektor Neukölln in Berlin. This event aims to create an inspiring space for one evening through a blend of texts, images, videos, and, most importantly, music, focusing on the unconscious, emotional worlds in the relationships between humans, machines, and AI.

„In collaboration with The Hidden, we explored various AI tools and pondered the discussions surrounding the AI phenomenon. Emotionally, the two-year journey to the album fluctuated between euphoria, contemplation, and fears of being overwhelmed by machine-learning intelligence. These themes have left their mark in the album’s music, images, videos, texts and in our daily lives.“ (rocomoco)

In addition to the exhibition, you can look forward to a performance featuring lab coats, an SP 404 sampler, and the traditional overhead projector.
