Die malerischen Arbeiten des Berliner Künstlerpaares zeigen ganz neue Ansichten intensiver emotionaler Welten, die sich in unzähligen Geschichten dem Betrachter offenbaren. Gemeinsam ist ihnen der hingebungsvolle Einsatz von Farbe und ihre surrealen Kompositionen. Der Titel »Ansichtssache« spiegelt die tiefgründigen thematischen Interpretationsspielräume wider. Der Betrachter kann sich nicht nur als heimlicher Beobachter, sondern gar als Protagonist des Bildes in die surrealen Welten entführen lassen und erkennt sich auf einmal in seiner individuellen Geschichte wieder. Die Werke zeigen mal humorvoll, mal dramatisch gesellschaftliche Auswüchse, Grenzen und Abgründe auf und laden dazu ein, sich den eigenen bewußt zu werden.
Die Arbeiten sind ab dem 25.Mai in der Galerie »playing with eels« zu sehen.
The picturesque works by the Berlin artist couple show entirely new views of intense emotional worlds that reveal themselves in countless stories to the viewer. The works of both have in common their devotional use of color and the surreal compositions. The title »matter of opinion« reflects the profound thematic scope for interpretation again. The viewer can get carried off directly into the surreal worlds at once not only as a secret observer but even as the protagonist of the painting and recognizes itself in its own individual history. The works show sometimes humorous, sometimes dramatically the social excesses, limitations and abysses and invite you to become conscious of your own.
The works will be on display from May 25th. at the gallery »playing with eels«.
