Internationaler Museumstag im Parlament der Bäume - Kunst, Live Speaking, Workshop
Als Denkmal steht das Parlament der Bäume wie eine grüne Oase mitten im Regierungsviertel neben der Kronprinzenbrücke.Der Aktionskünstler Ben Wagin wollte dort mit seiner Kunst an de Opfer der Berliner Mauer, aber auch weitere Opfer von Krieg und GewaIt erinnern.

Am Internationalen Museumstag können Kinder zwischen 5 und 12 Jahren am Parlament der Bäume ihre eigenen Kunstwerke schaffen – auf einer kleinen Natur-Insel mitten im Regierungsviertel erfahren sie einen Ort der Ruhe und Inspiration jenseits des großstädtischen Trubels. Erwachsene können mit unseren Guides über die Geschichte des Ortes ins Gespräch kommen.

As a monument, the Parliament of Trees stands like a green oasis in the heart of the government district, next to the Kronprinzenbrücke. Performance artist Ben Wagin wanted to use his art there to commemorate the victims of the Berlin Wall, as well as other victims of war and violence.
On International Museum Day, children ages 5 to 12 can create their own works of art at the Parliament of Trees - on a small natural island in the heart of the government district, they will discover a place of tranquility and inspiration away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Adults can engage in conversation with our guides about the history of the site.
