Eine Reise durch vielfältige Geschichten und Legenden aus verschiedenen Traditionen des amerikanischen Kontinents (Abya Yala) – Geschichten, in denen die Figuren meist Tiere sind und die uns dazu anregen, das Leben aus anderen Blickwinkeln zu betrachten. Erzählung, Musik und Kamishibai entführen uns in eine Welt voller Magie, so farbenprächtig wie ein Kolibri.
Darinka Ramirez ist eine mexikanische Geschichtenerzählerin und Performancekünstlerin, die Literatur durch Körper, Stimme und Klang erkundet. Darinka sammelt auf ihren Reisen rund um die Welt zeitgenössische und indigene Geschichten. Ihre Arbeiten wurden unter anderem in Indonesien, Neuseeland, Brasilien, El Salvador und New York präsentiert.
Im Anschluss: Offene Bühne! Bringt eure Geschichten, erzählt mit Händen und Füßen, mit Wort und Witz, mit Musik und Gesang! Egal was - bis zu 10 Minten, egal ob Mythen, Märchen, Biografisches oder Selbsterfundenes - Ihr seid willkommen!

Darinka Ramirez – Hummingbird Wings

A journey through a rich tapestry of stories and legends from various traditions across the American continent (Abya Yala) – stories in which the characters are mostly animals and which inspire us to view life from different perspectives. Storytelling, music and Kamishibai transport us to a world full of magic, as colourful as a hummingbird.
Darinka Ramirez is a Mexican storyteller and performance artist who explores literature through the body, voice and sound. On her travels around the world, Darinka collects contemporary and indigenous stories. Her work has been presented in Indonesia, New Zealand, Brazil, El Salvador and New York, amongst other places.
