LIVE MUSIK - Reinis Jaunais in CASA LOLA

Wir eröffnen die Konzertsaison 2016 mit einem Abend mit dem Musiker Reinis Jaunais, bei dem er seine neue CD vorstellt!

"Reinis Jaunais is a musician and guitar player from Latvia, Riga. In the past he played all kinds of music (from jazz to heavy metal) with several bands but recently he started to write his own solo music. In his music he combines different kinds of guitar playing techniques - tapping, percussioning, finger-picking etc.

Reinis has traveled a lot. He started to compose his own solo music when he was busking on a street while he was hitchhiking all around Europe and Asia. Recently he has started to play more official concerts instead of busking - so far he has performed in Europe, as well ...as in New Zealand and Cyprus.

Reinis Jaunais has released two solo albums - Plika ģitāra (2013) and Draugu orķestris (2015). In February he is going to release his third album - Gaišs, together with his new band - Young & The Oak People. Most of his songs are instrumental, some are in Latvian and there are also just a few in English..."
