David Evans is a writer and picture editor. Publications include John Heartfield (New York, 1992), Appropriation (London, 2009) and Critical Dictionary (London, 2011). He is currently working on a book about contemporary artists who ‘cut and paste’ photographic source material found on the Internet. Provisional title:Raiding the Internet – new directions in photo-appropriation. This little exhibition for I-A-M registers his ongoing interest in the purloined image.
