Billy Goodman is a unique slide guitarist, singer and songwriter. He comes from the US, where he Performed for over ten years with the Goodman Brothers. Equally noteworthy is its role as slide guitarist on tour by Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane, Electric Hot Tuna) and Dave Mason (Traffic) as well as a bass player during his time as a member of the road crew for Grace Slick and Jefferson Starship.
Together with his brother Frank received he in the German edition of Rolling Stone magazine for the 1995 released album Crooked Smile of Goodman Brothers. His four stars in 1998 published first solo album, Walk the Street Alone, found in Europe as well received.
Billy now lives in Berlin and Continues the tradition of folk and blues musicians. Its hallmarks are its distinctive style at the bottleneck slide guitar, the deep lyrics of his own songs and his expressive voice. At times he is referred by to as "the missing link between Paul Simon and Muddy Waters" and has already opened concerts for many variables,: such as Van Morrison, David Lindley, Leon Russell, Chris Whitley and many others.
