Christmas Worship Service with a Jazz Feel

American Church in Berlin with a different kind of musical Christmas
While most German churches are full to overflowing on Christmas Eve, it is rather quiet at the American Church in Berlin (ACB). Come December 25, it is a different story. This is when Americans traditionally observe Christmas and ACB on Dennewitzplatz welcomes all to join in the celebration at 11 am. A wonderful musical program featuring jazz interpretations of well-known Christmas songs by the ACB Jazz & Praise Band is sure to get everyone in the right spirit after the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle. Even “Oh Tannenbaum” will be heard at ACB but with its leaves swaying to swing. Following the service, visitors are invited to stay for American Christmas cookies with coffee and tea.
