Free entry, donations are very welcome and will be split between the artists.
Acoustic music is strong in this city, so we give you 4 songwriters who may or may not be rooted in Folk, but who will all play purely acoustic on this July evening. Well alright, we do amplify electric instruments, but only up to room temperature! No microphones, no soundcheck, just a bunch of local and visiting songwriters rushing in, serving you a few songs to your drink, to make for a very enjoyable Saturday evening at 800A.
TODDLER (Alternative | Solo-Bass)
19-year-old Stevie-Jo Dooley began studying double bass at the age of 7 and has since released two EPs of original material. She has played in many venues, including Ronnie Scott’s and Glastonbury festival on the same weekend in 2013.

Poppy Rose Music (Singer-Songwriter | Pop)
Poppy Rose is a 19 year-old singer/songwriter who toured round the UK and Germany with her debut self-titled EP in summer 2016. The handmade CDs sold out in Rough Trade, London, in just over a week. Poppy studied at Leeds College of Music for 3 years, and is currently taking a year out of studying to live in Berlin, explore her musical style, and to travel around Europe, writing and gigging along the way.

Jamie Collier MUSIC (Folk | Country | Blues | Melancholia)
Coming from New Zealand, Jamie Collier's musical journey of over 10 years, 9 albums and countless performances have refined and shaped his songwriting to where it stands now in Berlin. Jamie's style leans towards Folk and classic Americana, lyrically offering insightful, and at times humorous reflections on life.

The Night Gardener (Singer-Songwriter | Alternative Folk)
Oliver Hasse is from Berlin, but has some time as the archetypical hitchhiking busker under his belt. Years of songwriting were forged into his stage-alias The Night Gardener and 3 albums, the latest released this April. Usually going back and forth between heavy overdrive, delays, the occasional loop and quieter bits in his performances, this evening he'll play us a few newer and rarely played songs.
