Tropical Ambition in der Wildenbruch Bar

was originally formed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and it is based in Berlin since 2012. After recording the first album in Portuguese called "Monostereos", they decided to focus their compositions in English and recorded their second album called "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis".
In their first year in Berlin, Tropical Ambition performed in many great venues throughout the city and also in some festivals.

Their tunes show diverse influences that are almost always guided by the energy of Rock'n'Roll with small portions of the plurality of alternative music, the beauty of Bossa Nova, the sadness of blues, and the freedom of jazz, which are absorbed with their personal experiences in life and on the stage.

A short break was taken and after 2 years, Tropical Ambition decided to work on an acoustic set playlist with songs from both previous albums, and also new songs, all in English. Whilst they are preparing a third album, they can be spoted in some really cool venues in Berlin and soon all over Europe, either on an acoustic or on an electric set. And in their new material can also be spoted a much bigger latin influence, with richier compositions, powerful basslines and a very diversified rithymic dynamic on which brings a very tropical feeling into their stripped down Rock'n'Roll.
