It's our last Go West before the summer break and we've got FOUR awesome performers instead of the usual three... And it's still a free show :) ! (Though donations are welcome!)
We’re super easy to get to: AHA is just a few minutes from Yorckstraße, Kleistpark and Julius-Leber-Brücke stations.
Your host this month: Simone Hudson. Simone is a Berlin-based part-time comedian. Born as a badass mongrel (what?)... half Kiwi and half Swiss. Think Lord of the Rings edited to half an hour. Some people may find her soft twangy accent "unique" when she says "egg". Her comedy would be best described as honest storytelling, where the joke is on herself, society or everyday occurrences. She likes stereotypes and horsing around but does not like horses or being put in a box.
Our special guests on stage this month...
JENNI JUVONEN: Originally from Finland, Jenni started her comedy career in early 2017 and has already performed in three countries and in three languages - though she is only funny in two of them. She is based in Berlin, and her comedy is a mixture of reasonably open-minded observations about Germans, true tales of online dating and US politics, and heart-wrenchingly personal stories of dental hygiene and family genetics.

CARL DACKÖ is a 180 cm tall, bearded Swedish stand-up comedian, doing jokes, bits, and faces on the Berlin comedy scene. Carl's comedy is mostly about his relationship to and the behaviour of humans and animals around him. This can sometimes go to dark places but in a friendly happy way :) .
CAROLINE CLIFFORD is a founder of the Berlin scene who started her comedic journey in 2006 at Logan Murray’s world-famous stand-up comedy class. From there she quickly became one of the best new acts on the London circuit, becoming finalist in the Amused Moose, Funny Women and So You Think You’re Funny competitions. She now runs the rather spiffing We Are Not Gemused, the city's most prestigious open mic, and improvises a whole bunch at Comedy Cafe Berlin. She has done shows all over Europe but never at AHA!
And our special guest...
GABY TUPPER is a legend of the Berlin drag scene and a fixture at our home, AHA. In April she won the title of MISS*ter CSD 2018 and will be bringing a special surprise performance to our stage. We can't wait!
