Berlin's friendliest comedian is letting loose with his first solo show!
Ben MacLean is known as the Canadian Mr. Nice Guy, but give him a few glasses of Rotkäppchen Rosé and the truth bombs start to drop. Join him as he takes the piss out of gay life in Berlin, surviving as the youngest of seven kids and his new life inside the belly of the beast (German customer service).
If Ben’s a bit judgy, it’s because he realizes his own life choices are good for a laugh: the world’s only diplomat turned comedian, he’s also been a Walmart cashier, a DJ, a porn recruit, a personal trainer and a flight attendant. With a crazy LinkedIn profile like that, he knows to save his best reads for himself.
The host of Go West Comedy and the Fetish Comedy Show, this semi-finalist in Britain’s prestigious “So You Think You’re Funny?” contest is back from performing in London, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Cape Town to bring you 60 minutes of his rawest and most personal material.
And because it’ll be Ben’s birthday, he’s doing the German thing and throwing himself a party! There will be (limited) free drinks and sweets! Feel free to bring him a KaDeWe gift card. (Just kidding!)
