Paolo Profeti: alto sax, compositions
Davide Incorvaia: piano, compositions
Giuseppe Bottiglieri: double bass
Joe Smith: drums
Original compositions, fermly anchored in the Jazz tradition, but at the same time contextually contemporary and extremely captivating. Profeti and Incorvaia, both originally Milanese and bound by a profound friendship and musical compatibility, have been collaborating for many years.
The pieces that they will present belong to Profeti’s first album („Waiting for Bucharest”, Fiver House Records, 2015), where Incorvaia is present among others, as well as from his second album („Glide”, UR Records, 2019). They will also make the avant-premiere of new compositions which will be inserted in Profeti’s future album, as well as original pieces by Incorvaia.
The rythm section is completed by two musicians equally experienced in the field of Jazz: Italian double bass player Bottiglieri, and American drummer Smith, who, just like Incorvaia live in Berlin and play together on a regular basis.
