Join us for the screening of 'The Art of Puppetry' as part of the Freaky Flinta* Friday Films evening, and stay for the accompanying sock-puppet-making workshop after the film :D!
The documentary features students and professors in the puppetry department of the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts in Berlin. Through a combination of interviews and performance sequences, an insight into the captivating world of puppets and their mastery is gained.
The students share glimpses of their personal works, the doors of the colorful puppet archive are
opened, and through the expertise of the professors, the seemingly inanimate becomes convincingly animate.
