STAY STILL an exhibition by Florian Bergmann I had been walking down those streets a thousand times but I had never noticed them before. Probably my lack of interest in fashion (or shopping in general) had been the reason for ignoring them entirely. Then, suddenly, I saw them staring into the nirvana of hastily passing maybe-consumers – staying still forever. As in some kind of fever I was straying around in my attempt to capture their charisma, looking everywhere for an interesting expression or a beautiful reflection. After a couple of days – when it was over – I gladly returned into my former state of ignorance where I could let shop-windows be shop-windows and fake-faces be fake-faces.
