Die Musik des bolivianischen Singer-Songwriters Vadik vereint traditionelle lateinamerikanische Musik mit den Klängen und der Ästhetik von Rock- und Popmusik – es entstehen persönliche, poetische Lieder. Vadik komponiert seine eigene Musik. Seit über 19 Jahren spielt er auf Boliviens und weiteren südamerikanischen Bühnen. Bisher hat er zwei Alben als Sänger und Gitarrist der Rockband Camaleon herausgebracht und fünf Soloalben produziert. Vadik hat Erfahrung in der Aufnahme von Filmmusik, der Organisation von Musikworkshops für Jugendliche, sowie in der Musikproduktion. Er ist ebenfalls als Dichter aktiv und hat bisher vier Gedichtbände veröffentlicht. Seit 2012 lebt, schreibt und spielt er in Berlin.
La música del cantautor boliviano Vadik combina la música popular latinoamericana con los recursos y estéticas del pop y del rock en canciones de autor íntimas y poéticas. Vadik escribe canciones desde hace 19 años, integró varias bandas y proyectos musicales, y lanzó su carrera musical solista en 2007 con el álbum “Astronauta”, en el 2008 editó “Minimalia”, en el 2009 “Los Diarios”, en el 2012 estrenó el álbum “Ovni” y el 2014 lanza "Efectos Personales", contando permanentemente con la colaboración de destacadas figuras de la música boliviana y presentándose también en escenarios de Perú, Argentina y Brasil, y recientemente Berlín, Alemania donde reside, además de Suecia, Suiza, Dinamarca y España. También ha trabajado en música para televisión, cine y documentales y ofreciendo talleres creativos dirigidos a jóvenes creadores.
The music of Bolivian Singer-songwriter Vadik combines the tradition of the Latin-American popular singing with the sounds and esthetic resources from rock and pop music into intimate and poetic songs. Vadik writes his own music and for the last 19 years has performed mostly in stages all around Bolivia, but also in Brazil, Argentina and Perú; released two albums as singer and guitarist of the rock band Camaleon (Camaleon, 2003 and Origami, 2005) and five solo albums since 2007 (Astronauta, 2007; Minimalia, 2008; Los Diarios, 2009, OVNI, 2012 and Efectos Personales, 2014), as an artist, composer and producer. He has worked on tv shows scores, music workshops for students, and in musical production for another artists. As a writer Vadik has published four poetry books and one of short stories. In 2012 he moved to Berlin, Germany where he plays in theaters, bars and festivals.
