Opera on Tap - Carmen (and other stuff too, but mostly Carmen)

It’s summer in Berlin and many people are on vacation, including Co-managing Diva Anne Byrne. Sarah needed a partner to help host the show and luckily, the wonderful people at Berlin Opera Academy were up to the challenge. Join us for a preview of the BOA’s upcoming, Bob Fosse-inspired performance of Bizet's “Carmen” directed by Gidon Saks, along with some other operatic delights as Opera on Tap Berlin and Berlin Opera Academy present “Carmen (and other stuff too, but mostly Carmen).

This month's singers & pianist: The fabulous talent of Berlin Opera Academy

Arrive around 19:30, grab a drink and settle in for a night of great music. The singing begins at 20:00. Revel in the experience of drinking a beer among good company while listening to a mix of arias, duets, art song and operetta in the beautiful surroundings of Prachtwerk Berlin.

We hope to bring together opera aficionados and newbies alike to enjoy gorgeous music in a relaxed setting at least once a month here in Berlin. If you are interested in singing in future shows, please come and be sure to introduce yourself!
