On "These Are The Parts", the latest album by The Night Gardener, the singer-songwriter goes full circle. The 32-year-old, raised just outside Berlin and living in the heart of the city now, spent his twenties busking and traveling across Europe, finding his voice and songs. With a background in concept art, he uses his music to explore themes of identity, escapism, defeat and healing. As a solo act, he brings a wide dynamic range to the stage, with the help of multiple effects, hybrid signals and the occasional loop.

Entertainment for the Braindead is the solo project of Berlin based singer and multi-instrumentalist Julia Kotowski. Since 2007 she has been dedicating herself to the creation of very quiet sounds, weaving the noises of small instruments, field recordings and delicate vocal arrangements into introvert folk songs. The results have been published in various, often half conceptual releases on web platforms and as hand crafted cd editions. On stage she weaves soft synths into layered guitar loops and voice.
