Nach kurzer Pause taucht die Musique Maudite wieder auf der Moabiter Bildfläche auf und landet zielsicher im Kirchenschiff der Reformationskirche Beusselstraße! Einen Tag lang zaubert sie einen funkelnden Klangraum, eine magische Wunderwelt. Wir führen euch durch ein musikalisch-sinnliches 360° Erlebnis. In unserer Mitte entspringt ein Impuls, füllt den riesigen Space um uns nach und nach mit Sound, Raum und Klang spielen miteinander, regen sich an, verschmelzen in Interaktion. Von atmosphärischem Grundrauschen bis voluminöser Fülle und wieder zurück zum Ursprung. Wie ein tiefer Atemzug.

EINLASS UND BEGINN:

Um 15.00 öffnen die Kirchenpforten und ihr seid schon mitten drin in unserer magischen RE!SE. Ihr taucht ein in wabernden Schall und Rauch von Orgel und Synthesizer, Sonnentstrahlen im Nebel verklären alle Sinne. Die Handpan erhebt sich aus dem Klangteppich: Es geht los! Freundlich-spielerisch umtanzen sich Cello und Flügel. Der Raum beginnt zu schwingen. Reflektionen schießen umher, verdichten den Sound. Perkussionen scheppern, Stimmen fliegen, die Orgel erfüllt alles. Zeit zu schweben. Elektronischer Beat erhebt das Vibraphon. Mystische Dämmerung. Lass dich fallen in die Arme der Gitarre. Geerdet aber ganz leicht. Warm wie das Glockenspiel. Zu Hause. In Ruhe. In der Natur. Raumklang, der leise zerfällt. Willkommen zurück!

EINTRITT:

Der Eintritt zu allen Konzerten ist frei, damit jeder dabei sein kann, egal wie groß der Geldbeutel ist. Musique Maudite ist ein unabhängiges und nicht-kommerzielles Festival. Dennoch fallen bei der Umsetzung natürlich Kosten an und auch die Künstler und Künstlerinnen sollen nicht leer ausgehen. Daher habt ihr die Möglichkeit für Spenden und wir hoffen auf eure Unterstützung.

VERPFLEGUNG:

An der Bar findet ihr alkoholische und nicht-alkoholische Getränke, und für (veganes) Essen ist ebenfalls gesorgt.

MUSIQUE MAUDITE:

Die Musique Maudite möchte einen Beitrag leisten zum kulturellen Leben in Moabit, vernetzen und Musikkultur sichtbar machen.
Seit 2011 fanden 10 musikalische Veranstaltungen an ungewöhnlichen und immer wechselnden Moabiter Orten statt. 2015 und 2016 ist daraus dann ein 2-tägiges Festival erwachsen. Musique Maudite ist ein Projekt des Vereins IMPULSKULTUR. Das Konzert-Festival am 7. April findet statt in Kooperation mit dem REFO Moabit e.V. (http://www.refo-moabit.de/).

BiWald

BiWald is the creation evolving from the meeting of two musicians: a cellist and singer-songwriter Julia Biłat (Poland) and a pianist and composer Daniel Schwarzwald (Israel).
Julia Biłat, classically trained is stretching the boundaries of the instrument playing with some of the renowned jazz musicians such as: Greg Cohen, Leon Parker and others.
Daniel Schwarzwald is a pianist and a composer from Jerusalem, Israel based in Berlin these days. Aside working as a solo pianist and sideman, performing with Kevin Mahogany, Eli Degibri, Ziv Ravith and many more, Daniel contributes his unique voice and approach to composition.

RE!SE

RE!SE is musician/composer Anna Morley and cellist Nikolaus Herdieckerhoff, aka "Cellolitis". The German/Australian duo perform their own compositions for vibraphone, cello, vocals, keys and electronics. Their sound has been described as "an eclectic fusion of electro-acoustic vibes with ambient overtones, woven together by fresh minimal grooves". Their unique combination of instruments and passionate performances immerse the listener in an enchanting sonic experience.

Sound installation with church organ and synthisizer. Developed by Matthias Wende and Ali Elkharam especially for this project. A wafting blanquet of improvised and built up sounds.

The Secret Chord Collective is a collective of Berlin-based musicians who perform secular compositions in church spaces. Led by the songwriter Nathan Vanderpool (US), expect a mysterious and soulful night of reverberation.

Who are you Lutra Lutra ??

Lutra Lutra was born on the windy french coast of Brest, France. Lutra Lutra breathes somewhere where you can meet Tom Waits, Damien Rice, Iron & Wine or Devendra Banhart. Their tunes are sometimes soft and calm, sometimes loud and sharp, but always elaborated with a compulsive need for a strong melodic line.
Now established in Berlin, they are always searching for new stories to tell and to enrish their universe.
They enjoy and take great care to explore spontaneous and unusual ways of playing their instruments (ukulele, guitars, mandolin, concertina, bells), but never forget the singer songwriter sensibilty that flows into their veins.

Zhenya aims to combine his passions of music and theatre in his compositions, creating dramatic structures and improvising within them. He evokes spiralling cycles with subtle variations on the theme, creating evocative spaces for the listener to journey through.
