Philocafé: „Without Us“ - Thinking the World Beyond Anthropocentrism

Taking up the current exhibition "Without Us" at the Novilla, we want to deal in the Philocafé with the question what a turning away from anthropocentric thinking would or could mean. Instead of radically thinking ourselves away, we want to mentally take up the fourth mortification of humanity following Sigmund Freud's insights and consider what a turning away from anthropocentrism, i.e. a spiritual "abdication of humanity as the crown of creation" would mean for our culture and what would have to change. Thereby we have to endure and discuss the ambivalence to the non-human world, which on the one hand results from "nature" with animal and plant world" and on the other hand from artificial intelligence, which threatens to dispute our supposed place as crown of creation.

For the physical well-being there will be a vegan BBQ.
