FRAGMENTS OF A UNIVERSE

Based on the exhibition “Fragments of a Universe” by artist Beate Honsell-Weiss and her discourse on “Connectedness”, two collectives devote one week to the process-oriented search on working- and communication-forms and generating intuitive material. The audience is invited to witness the improvisations of GRUPO OITO and the rehearsals of the FLUGWERK ENSEMBLE and to take part in the emerging discussions. The result is an interdisciplinary work: visual art meets dance meets theater meets dialogue. The audience has the opportunity, as so often in the FLUGWERK, to experience the search and furthermore to actively
participate in it.

FLUGWERK is a workshop stage for theatre, performance and visual arts. Artists and collectives are invited to work here, to exchange ideas and to network. In open rehearsals, tryouts and shows, the works realized in FLUGWERK are regularly opened to the public for discussion. The goal is the visualization of work processes and the development of new ways of working and of communication spaces for the artistic practice.
