Khaled Barakeh is a Syrian artist and cultural activist. In his work, he implements different creative practices and categorizes his own art practice as cultural hacking. His work, often revolving around politics, power, identity, culture and history, promotes social interventions that aim to improve the situation of artists in exile, while at the same time contributing to the local cultural scene.
